Human Resources Development Operational Programme (HRDOP) -1.4.1 -15 Professional support for Integrated Child Opportunities Programmes
The main purpose of the flagship programme is to support the applicants of HRDOP 1.4.2-16 „Integrated Child Opportunities Programmes”, as well as applicants of HRDOP 1.4.3-16 „Nice Little Place – Support of Sure Start Children’s Houses and Complex Settlement Programmes” from elaboration through implementation to evaluation.
The principal objective of the supported programmes, implemented in the most disadvantaged and underdeveloped areas of Hungary, is to reduce child poverty and improve children’s opportunities by providing local services that are still missing, while enhancing quality and accessibility of already existing services.
Project-related responsibilities at first had been performed by Program Office to Combat Child Poverty (POCCP) (2008-2010) and since 2011 by Child Opportunities Research Group. The project – carried out within the framework of HRD-OP 1.4.1 since 2016 -is implemented in consortium, led by the Hungarian Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection, including the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta and Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
